Online Meeting, 15th of March

Polish students had an excellent opportunity to meet  their project partners on Microsoft Teams Platform. During the meeting Danish students presented their school and school habits to their  peers. We could get to know our partner school better. Then, all of the participants were divided into groups and worked on the topic of sustainable habits in our daily life. It was great to practice communication skills and exchange ideas during the meeting.

Bilingual workshops on Renewable Sources on Energy

 Renewable energy sources were the main topic of the

class conducted by our teachers. The aim of the meeting was to make students familiar with various methods that are used to obtain energy from the sun rays, wind, water, geothermal resources and biomass. At the end, the participants tested their knowledge solving multimedia quizzes. Classes were conducted in Polish and English.

Webinar on Climate Change



Lecture On Climate Change


We had an opportunity to attend a lecture with Prof. Dr. Zafer YÜCESAN entitled: "Climate change and Sustainability". During the online meeting, we learned why our daily activities have a significant impact on the climate and how important it is to make mature, sustainable choices.

The meeting was carried out as part of the eTwinning You've Got a Mail project.

A unique meeting with our peers.

This week Erasmus group met with the students of the Special Educational Centre in Konin. Upcoming Christmas were an excellent occasion to meet peers and get to know their school habits and form of work .  The meeting took place on the Meet platform and was an excellent opportunity to talk about customssymbols and traditionsThere was time to get to know each other better, exchange ideas and  watch decorations prepared by young people with different disabilities during therapeutic workshops. The enthusiasm among participants was easily spotted. We hope to continue our cooperation.

Students' online meeting

The first international meeting of the Erasmus+ group has just finished! On the 23rd of November students from four partner schools met on the Teams platform to discuss the sustainable development of their countries and cities. The meeting was attended by about 60 students and project coordinators from Poland, Austria, Denmark and Spain. The first part of the meeting was about having fun together and breaking language barriers. In the second part, the students had the opportunity to get to know each other better and discuss the tasks they were carrying out together. The students worked in 12 project groups, and the results of their  work were published on the Padlet website. There was also time for the whole group discussion.

We would like to thank the students for their participation in the meeting and their involvement.

At the end of November, our school hosted a meeting for parents of the Erasmus + project participants who were about to  take part in a student exchange that was planned in December in Denmark. However, the exchange was postponed due to pandemic reasons.

Coordinators described the idea of the project to the  parents and presented the rules that need to be followed when  participating in a foreign mobility. Parents had the opportunity to see the review from previous exchanges and get to know partner schools.

2nd Teachers' Meeting in Konin, Poland


On the 2nd-4th November, our school hosted the coordinators of the international Erasmus + project “Let’s challenge the future - Approaching new horizons to create a sustainable Europe!”. Teachers from partner schools from Austria, Denmark, Spain and Poland took part in inspiring meetings, workshops, open lessons and discussions to work on  the issue of sustainable development.

 The meeting with the Coordinator for Youth and Creative Projects of the City Hall, Mrs. Agnieszka Gołębiowska and the City Councilor of Konin, Mrs. Emilia Wasielewska, was an excellent opportunity to talk about the idea of ​​sustainable development of our city, education and youth. 

The president of the Association for People with Autism Gepetto, Mrs Anna Leśna-Szymańska, introduced the guests to the specificity of the idea of assisted flat for people with an autism spectrum. 

The topic of obtaining electricity and heat as a result of thermal treatment of municipal waste was discussed during the visit to the Municipal Department of Municipal Waste Management. The next point was a visit to the Salt Mine in Kłodawa and a conversation on the mining of natural resources and their processing.


At the end, teachers had the opportunity to participate in open lessons prepared by teachers and students.
