"Water"- a school contest for students

To pay attention to the role of water in our environment and to develop one's hobbies students had the opportunity to participate in the school photo contest. The title of the event was "water".  💦Photos were to be sent  until April 20th, 2022. The task of the participants was to approach the topic in a creative way. The event was organized by Mr. Krzysztof Krakowski.

Stop Climate change- radio broadcast and leaflet

    

We tried to rise the awarness of school society by conducting a radio broadcast on the threats of climate change. We introduced the topic and suggested ecological code of conduct. The result of our activity is a leaflet with our eco ideas.

The World Health Day

On April the 7th, we celebrated the World Health Day. The slogan of this year event was  "Our planet, Our health".  We paid special attention to understand

 how the condition of our planet affects the health of people living on it. Students had the opportunity to take part in a game with QR codes and in a competition about people and their health. Some teachers also took up the challenge and entered the competition😁

Clean up the World!

♻️ We made the world around us a little cleaner again 😀🇵🇱💚 All thanks to our project Erasmus+ Ka229 and the "Clean up the World - Poland 2021" campaign, which took place on September 17-19, 2021, and was held under the slogan "I think, so I don't litter." 🧠🌏♻️. All the students picked up the litter in the area surrounding our school. Students equipped with protective gloves and  plastic bags sensibly put the rubbish in a proper bag. 

We encourage you to take care of our Earth, clean up and don't litter!

The Earth Day

    Participants of the international Erasmus + project took part in a webinar organized by the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The event was organized to celebrate the Earth Day.  During the meeting, students took part in lectures: "Earth's climate system" by Dr. Aleksandra Kardaś and "What can I do for the climate?" by Dr. Magdalena Budziszewska as well as in workshops. The topic of the workshops dealt with the issue of food waste and introduced useful solutions according to the idea of Zero Waste. Moreover, it covered the topic of responsible sustainable fashion. As one of the students summed up her participation in this media event: "For me, it was a very interesting and informative webinar, thanks to which I learned a lot, and I discovered what I haven’t been doing right and how I can change it and  help the world."

OUR HOBBIES

 

• It is a title of the picnic that was organised in our school to share our hobbies and promote the idea of healthy eating habbits and lifestyle. At that event we could get to know:

• How to grow eco vegetables.

• How to plant flowers.

• How to run a bee farm.

• What to eat to be healthy.

• Buy second-hand books.

• Get to know new hobbies and passions (e.g. paragliding, sailing, crafts, knitting etc.)

The Climate Change Protest

One of our students encouraged the whole school society to take part in The Youth Climate Protests that took place in our city. That is the poster that he hung on the walls of our school. 

Cleaning the Earth Day

 As every year we took part in the Cleaning the Earth Day on which we clean the area surrounding our school from waste. Provided with plastic bags we recycled the waste that we found on our way. Environment is the thing we do care about.
