The first international meeting of the Erasmus+ group has just finished! On the 23rd of November students from four partner schools met on the Teams platform to discuss the sustainable development of their countries and cities. The meeting was attended by about 60 students and project coordinators from Poland, Austria, Denmark and Spain. At the end of November, our school hosted a meeting for parents of the Erasmus + project participants who were about to  take part in a student exchange that was planned in December in Denmark. However, the exchange was postponed due to pandemic reasons.

Coordinators described the idea of the project to the  parents and presented the rules that need to be followed when  participating in a foreign mobility. Parents had the opportunity to see the review from previous exchanges and get to know partner schools.

The World Sustainable Development Day is celebrated on the 27th October this year. To celebrate this important day students participating in the Erasmus + project met online. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to welcome new project participants and present the main objectives and goals of the project activities. To have a better understanding of sustainable development, the project coordinators presented a video in which Malala Yousafzai, the youngest person awarded with Nobel Peace Prize , talks about the challenges that humanity face and the importance of all people working together to overcome them.  In the end students were eager to share their opinions.

Clean up the World!

♻️ We made the world around us a little cleaner again 😀🇵🇱💚 All thanks to our project Erasmus+ Ka229 and the "Clean up the World - Poland 2021" campaign, which took place on September 17-19, 2021, and was held under the slogan "I think, so I don't litter." 🧠🌏♻️. All the students picked up the litter in the area surrounding our school. Students equipped with protective gloves and  plastic bags sensibly put the rubbish in a proper bag.

We encourage you to take care of our Earth, clean up and don't litter!

"Environmental changes for sustainable schools"

On August 15th-22nd, Mrs. Małgorzata Krzymińska and Lidia Michałowska participated in the project  "Environmental changes for sustainable schools" course in Tenerife as a part of  the POWER project "To inspire and be inspired".

The course, led by very nice lecturers - Laura and Jose, was an excellent opportunity to discuss the conscious exploitation of our planet. Teachers from Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Italy and Bulgaria explored the ideas of sustainable development. Working on the project method, the participants jointly performed tasks aimed at conscious consumerism, followed the way in which goods were produced, and finally performed the ecological footprint test. The subject of the course was also related to the issues of the circular economy, examples of permaculture, reuse of waste and the implementation of sustainable development goals in schools in Tenerife.

It was an intense week full of good energy and creative ideas.
